Jessica Anne Fishlock MBE (born January 14, 1987 in Cardiff ) is a Welsh football player who has been under contract with Seattle Reign FC since the 2013 season .
Career
societies
She began her professional career at Cardiff City LFC and played there, with a short detour to the Newport Strikers team, until 2007. Fishlock then completed a season for the Bristol Academy WFC and in 2008 moved to the Dutch Eeredevisie to AZ Alkmaar . With Alkmaar she won the championship twice.
In 2011 Fishlock returned to Bristol to play in the newly formed FA WSL . In November 2012, she joined the Australian W-League participant Melbourne Victory .
At the beginning of 2013 she was hired as a so-called free agent for the newly founded NWSL of Seattle. Fishlock made her league debut on April 14, 2013 against the Chicago Red Stars , her first goal in the NWSL she scored on April 21 against Portland Thorns FC . In the summer of 2013 she returned to the British Isles on loan and signed a three-month loan deal with Glasgow City LFC , with which she failed in the Champions League last 16 at Arsenal LFC . For the 2013/14 season of the Australian W-League she returned, also on loan, to Melbourne Victory and won the championship there at the end of the season.
For the 2014/15 season of the women's Bundesliga , Fishlock switched to 1. FFC Frankfurt on loan , but returned to Seattle before the end of the season as agreed. In the next two years she spent the NWSL's free time at Melbourne City FC in the Australian W-League. In 2015/16 she won her second Australian championship. The following year she was initially active as a playing assistant coach and in January 2017 moved up to the team's interim player-coach until the end of the season.
National team
Fishlock plays for the Welsh national team and participated with them in the Algarve Cups in 2009 , 2011 , 2012 and 2013 . On April 5, 2017, she became the first Welsh woman to make her 100th international match in a 3-1 win against Northern Ireland .
