The 2009/10 Eredivisie was the third season of the Dutch women's eredivisie . As in the previous year, AZ Alkmaar became champions .
Season overview
In the third season since the introduction of the Eredivisie for women, the AZ Alkmaar players prevailed again . They have won all championships since the league was introduced. As in the previous year, ADO Den Haag was runner-up . In contrast to the previous season, the Eredivisie shrank to six teams (previously seven teams), Roda JC Kerkrade withdrew her women's team from the competition. The AZA lost a total of only three games. One of them at home, two away. The highest-scoring matches were between SC Heerenveen and FC Twente Enschede (4: 3) and between Willem II Tilburg and Twente Enschede (5: 2). Seven goals were scored in both games.
Best attacker Sylvia Smit from SC Heerenveen, who defended her title from last year. However, she had to share it with Chantal de Ridder from master AZ Alkmaar.
