Sylvia Smit (born July 4, 1986 in Stadskanaal , Netherlands ) is a Dutch soccer player and current national player, who has been under contract with PEC Zwolle since 2011 .

Career

Since the Eredivisie was founded in 2007, Smit played at FC Twente Enschede and SC Heerenveen, for which she scored double digits.

She made her first international match on August 6, 2004 in the 2-0 defeat by Japan . On November 25, 2012, she made her 100th international match in a 2-0 win against Wales as the sixth Dutch woman . In the meantime, she has scored 30 goals in 101 games, six of them in the 13-1 record win against Macedonia on October 29, 2009.

She was in the squad for the EM 2013 , but only made a brief appearance in the last group game and was eliminated with her team after the preliminary round.
