The 2019/20 Eredivisie was the tenth season of the Dutch women's Eredivisie . The season started on August 23, 2019 and should be concluded with the championship round and the placement round on March 27, 2020 after the end of the league round. Because of the Tournoi de France , in which the Dutch national soccer team took part, there was a break from 25 February to 20 March, but the following games were initially postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic . On April 22, the season ended without a final playoff due to the effects of the pandemic. Since Achilles '29 announced on April 18, 2019 that his women's team would be withdrawn after the season for financial reasons, only eight teams participated that season.

The season should run over two rounds. In the first round, each team had a home and an away game against the other teams. After the 14 games, the four best teams should play for the championship title. The four worst teams should play for places 5 to 8.
