Hermann Gaisbichler

Hermann Gaisbichler (born May 22, 1899 in Altaussee , Styria , † March 1, 1970 in Salzburg , Salzburg ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

Hermann Gaisbichler visited after the elementary school , a public school in Saalfelden . Then Gaisbichler came to Tyrol, where he found a new home in Hochfilzen . Here he became managing director of his father's company, a company producing gravel and cement .

Gaisbichler's political career began in 1928 when he was elected to the Hochfilzen municipal council. From 1935 to 1938 he held office for the first time in the role of mayor of his home municipality. After the Second World War he was sworn in again as mayor in 1945. He was there until 1946. After a ten-year break, Gaisbichler was again mayor in 1956. It was until 1962.

From 1957 to 1961 Gaisbichler sat as a member of the ÖVP in the Tyrolean state parliament . It was he who sent him to the Federal Council in Vienna in November 1961 . He was only a member of the Federal Council until November 1962.
