Fridolin Solleder

Fridolin Solleder (born August 28, 1886 in Straubing ; † March 31, 1972 ) was a Bavarian archivist.

From 1912 to 1914, Solleder organized the scattered documents of the Juliusspital as Reich archivist . He was director of the Bavarian State Archives and from 1940 to 1952 head of the Nuremberg State Archives . Most recently he was a university professor in Erlangen. In the 1920s, Solleder acted as publisher of the regional and historical magazine Das Bayerland . From 1953 to 1956 he was chairman of the Society for Family Research in Franconia
