The women's DFB Cup was played for the 34th time in the 2013/14 season. The defending champion was VfL Wolfsburg . The final took place on May 17, 2014 in Cologne's Rheinenergiestadion . The winner of the cup was 1. FFC Frankfurt , who beat SGS Essen 3-0 in the final and won the DFB Cup for the ninth time.
Participating teams
The teams of the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga of the past season are automatically qualified. In addition, there are the promoted players in the 2nd Bundesliga and the winners of the 21 regional cup competitions. Second teams are generally not eligible to participate. If a second team or a promoted team to the 2nd Bundesliga wins the state cup, the defeated finalist moves up to the DFB-Pokal if the 1st team is qualified for the DFB-Pokal.
