On January 11, 2013, she was drawn as number 19 in the second round of Washington Spirit in the NWSL Draft . On July 24, 2009, Venezuela played their first international match for the Mexican women's national soccer team . The defender played again for the Mexican U-20 women's national soccer team at the 2010 U-20 Women's World Cup in Germany and scored the equalizer against Nigeria to make it 1-1, giving Mexico the group win. At the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup 2010 she reached the final against Canada with Mexico and qualified for the 2011 World Cup. Mexico then lost to Canada 0-1.
