Irini Ioannidou (born June 11, 1991 in Essen ) is a German soccer player .

Life

Ioannidou began her sporting career at the DJK Juspo Essen-West. From 2004 to 2010 she played as a midfielder at FCR 2001 Duisburg . In summer 2010 she moved to SG Essen-Schönebeck . In 2012 her contract with SG Essen-Schönebeck was extended.

As a teenager she was used in the U-15 national team and won the German B-Junior Championship in 2007 . With Duisburg she won the DFB-Pokal in 2009 and 2010 and the UEFA Women's Cup in 2009. With the German U-19 national team , she took part in the U-19 European Championship in May 2010 .
