The TV Derendingen is a sports club from Derendingen , a district of the Baden-Württemberg city of Tübingen . The club achieved successes in particular with its women's soccer department.
Soccer
Women's soccer
The women's football department of the TV Derendingen won in 2011 and 2012, the Wuerttemberg Cup and thus took each in the first round of the German Cup in 2012/13 and the German Cup 2013/14 part. There they lost against TSV Crailsheim 1: 2 and 1. FC Köln. In 2014 they were promoted to the Regionalliga Süd , from which the team had to relegate two years later.
The second team competes in regional league 5 of the Württemberg Football Association .
Men's soccer
The first men's team of the TV Derendingen currently playing in the Württemberg District League , the second team in the Kreisliga B .
Other departments
In addition to football, the club also offers basketball , tennis , table tennis and gymnastics . The athletics department of TV is a member of LAV Tübingen . In 2011 the Friends of TV Derendingen was founded, which promotes the association ideally and financially.
