Ilaria Mauro (born May 22, 1988 in Gemona del Friuli , Udine Province , Friuli-Venezia Giulia ) is an Italian soccer player .

Career

societies

Mauro started her career at the age of eight, in the male E-youth of the UP Reanese . In summer 2001 she left UP Reanese and moved to the D-youth of the women's football club Unione Polisportiva Comunale Graphistudio Tavagnacco . After a year in the Primavera team, with which she won the Serie D Femminile, she was promoted to Serie A in the summer of 2002. She made her senior debut at the age of 14 and was runner-up in Serie A with the team in 2011 and 2012. This second place gave her her first time in the UEFA Women's Champions League . On June 1, 2013 she helped with a goal in the 2-0 win over ASD CF Bardolino for the first time, the Coppa Italia . She played 133 games for UPC Tagnacco and scored 67 goals before moving to the second women's division for SC Sand in the summer . On September 8, 2013 she made her debut in the 2nd Bundesliga against SV 67 Weinberg and scored her debut goal straight away. She also helped SC Sand to reach the semi-finals of the DFB Cup 2013 with five goals in four games . She crowned her Bundesliga debut on August 31, 2014 (1st matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the home game against FF USV Jena with her first Bundesliga goal, the goal of the interim 1-0 lead in the 19th minute. On April 26, 2015 Mauro signed a two-year contract with league rivals 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam . In the summer of 2016, she terminated her contract after just one season in Potsdam and switched to AC Florence on July 19, 2016 . Mauro helped Fiorentina to its first championship in the club's history with 16 goals in 21 games, and she also won the 2016/2017 cup with Florence.

National team

Mauro played for years in the Italian U-19 national team and was appointed to the Italian women's national soccer team for the first time in spring 2008 . She made her A international debut for Italy against the Chinese women's national soccer team in Loulé as part of the Algarve Cup . In June 2013 she was nominated by national coach Antonio Cabrini for the 2013 European Women's Football Championship in Sweden. She played three games in the finals and scored one goal.
