The ASD ASGM Verona CF is a women's football club from Bardolino on Lake Garda, 30 km from Verona center. The association was founded in 1995 and plays in the Serie A . The club colors are blue and yellow.

history

Just two years after the club was founded, the team made it to Serie A, the top division in Italian women's football. Since then, the team has always placed in the top three of the league. The club won their first title in 2001 with the Italian Super Cup . The first championship followed in 2005. The 2006/07 season saw the biggest triumph in the club's history. With a lead of 13 points, the team won the second championship and also won the trophy and the super cup. In the UEFA Women's Cup , Bardolino reached the semi-finals in the 2007/08 season as the first Italian team, where the team met the German champions 1. FFC Frankfurt , but lost there. In September 2013, the investment group took over Azienda Generale Servizi Municipali di Verona SpA the sponsorship and the club was in ASD AGSM Verona CF renamed.

Stadion

The home venue was the Stadio Comunale Belvedere in Bardolino with a capacity of 1,000 seats. For the UEFA Women's Cup semi-final against Frankfurt, the club moves to the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi in Verona . Since the 2010/11 season, all national games have been played in the "Olivieri" stadium in Verona, while the international games continue to be played in the neighboring Bentegodi stadium.
