Simone Melanie Laudehr [ lauˈdeɐ ] (born July 12, 1986 in Regensburg ) is a German soccer player . She plays for the Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich and was active for the senior national team from 2007 to 2017 , with which she won the world title shortly after her debut . Laudehr is considered an all-rounder, but is mostly used as a midfielder .

Laudehr, who came from a German-Romanian marriage, started playing football at the age of three at FC Tegernheim in the municipality of the same name in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg . In 1996 she moved to SC Regensburg before being signed by Bundesliga club Bayern Munich in 2003 . After only one season, she was obliged by league competitor FCR 2001 Duisburg . National team

Her mother Doina, a native Romanian from Bucharest , took part in various international athletics competitions for her home country Romania . Laudehr canceled her first invitation to the national team in 2006 because she was about to complete her training as an office clerk at her place of residence in Straelen . In 2007 she joined the Bundeswehr sports promotion group in Warendorf .
