Hanna Erica Maria Glas (born April 16, 1993 in Sundsvall ) is a Swedish national soccer player who has been under contract with FC Bayern Munich since July 1, 2020 .
Career
societies
Glas began playing soccer in her place of birth at the resident Sundsvalls DFF in Norrettan , the second highest division in Swedish women's football at the time. For the second division, she played 43 point and eight cup games from 2009 to 2012 , in each of which she scored two goals.
In 2013 she moved to the first division promoted Sunnanå SK , for which she was not used due to a cruciate ligament tear in March . Since the club at the end of the season as last-placed in the Elitettan , the second highest division, had to relegate , they moved to the first division Umeå IK .
For the club, which won seven championship titles between 2000 and 2008 , she played two cup games in 2013, before playing her first 16 games in the Damallsvenskan , the top division, in the 2014 season and scoring her first goal; in the cup competition she scored two goals in five games. In the following two seasons she scored one goal in 27 point games and two goals in a cup game. With the end of the season on November 5, 2016, their club occupied the penultimate place and had to relegate to the second division.
She then switched to Eskilstuna United on January 1, 2017 , for whom she scored a goal in 38 point games by August 2018 and was signed by the French first division club Paris Saint-Germain in September, still in the current season .
She made her competitive debut for her new club, for which she played 14 point games, on September 30, 2018 (5th matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the home game against OSC Lille from the start, before she played for Perle in the 58th minute Morroni was substituted; She scored her first goal on December 1, 2018 (12th matchday) in a 2-0 home win against ASJ Soyaux with the 1-0 goal in the 59th minute. What she failed to do during her time in Sweden - with third place in 2017 with Eskilstuna United, she narrowly missed her first participation in the 2018/19 UEFA Women's Champions League - has now succeeded with Paris Saint-Germain. On October 17, 2018, she made her debut in the first leg of the last 16 in a 2-0 win in Linköping at the local Linköpings FC .
On April 14, 2020, FC Bayern Munich announced the player's commitment from the 2020/21 season.
National team
Glas went through the Swedish junior national teams and became European champion with the U-19 team in 2012 . But it took until January 19, 2017 for her first appearance in the senior national team , which she had in a 1: 2 defeat against the national team of Norway . She was then also in the squad for the 2017 European Championship , but only sat on the bench in the four games after which the European Championship was over for Sweden. In 2018 it was used in nine games, two of which were in the tournament for the Algarve Cup and in four qualifying games for the 2019 World Cup . It was used five times in the first six games in 2019.
On May 16, she was also nominated for the World Cup . At the World Cup she was used in all seven games, although she was not in the starting eleven in the group final against the USA and was only substituted for team captain Caroline Seger after 64 minutes . In all other games she was on the pitch for the full length of the game. As group runner-up they reached the knockout round , in which they won 1-0 against the national team of Canada in the round of 16 . In the quarter-finals, the Swedes won a competitive game against the national team of Germany after 24 years and thus qualified for the 2020 Olympic football tournament. In the semifinals, they were defeated by European champions Netherlands after extra time , but were then able to win the game for third place against the national team of England .
