Carina Wenninger (born February 6, 1991 in Thal ) is an Austrian soccer player who has been under contract with Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich since the 2008/09 season .
Career

Wenninger started playing soccer at SV Thal at the age of nine and switched to FC Gratkorn at the age of fourteen ; In both clubs she still played football with boys. She became a member of the all-women team in 2006 when she switched to LUV Graz , for which she played for one season.
In 2007 she signed Bayern Munich (together with Viktoria Schnaderbeck ), for whose second team she made her debut on September 9, 2007 (1st matchday) in a 4-0 home win over Karlsruher SC . She scored her first regional league on September 16, 2007 (2nd matchday) in a 5-1 win in the away game against VfL Sindelfingen . Before she played her last regional league game on May 24, 2009 (18th matchday) in a 4-1 win in the away game against TSV Pfersee Augsburg , she came on October 26th 2008 (7th matchday) in a 5-5 home game against SC Freiburg - who came on for Mandy Islacker in the 84th minute - for their debut in the first team and also in the Bundesliga . National team
Wenninger played six times for the Austrian U-19 national team between 2006 and 2007. On May 5, 2007, she made her debut in the senior national team , which lost the first qualifying game for the 2009 European Championship against Poland's selection in Freistadt with 0-1.
She scored her first international goal on August 26, 2007 in Gleisdorf in a 5-0 victory over Israel's selection ; also as part of the European Championship qualification.
