After her contract expired, Simon moved to league rivals SC Freiburg for the 2016/17 season . On July 2, 2018, Champions League winner Olympique Lyon announced the signing of Simon, where she was the third German in the squad alongside Dzsenifer Marozsán and Lisa Weiß . For the 2019/20 season , she was signed by FC Bayern Munich , who provided her with a contract valid until June 30, 2022.
