Germany won the first UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship with a 3-0 final victory over France at the Colovray Stadium in Nyon, Switzerland. Goals from Dzsenifer Marozsan and Alexandra Popp brought Ralf Peter's troops onto the road to victory, before substitute Ivana Rudelic brought the win eight minutes before the end.
