societies

Her football debut at VGA Saint-Maur , in whose second division eleven she played regularly from 2006, was followed by a three-and-a-half year stay in the USA , where she played on a university team. During the 2012/13 winter break of the French league, she came back to France for FF Issy , who played in the first division that season. When FF Issy had to relegate to the second division at the end of the season, Inès Jaurena moved to Juvisy FCF , where she quickly established herself as a regular before a serious leg injury interrupted her development at the end of 2014. After Juvisy merged to become the women's division of Paris FC , she played again for a club from the capital until 2019. Then she joined the Girondins Bordeaux .

From 2014, she completed an apprenticeship in Créteil in the same profession as her father, a sports journalist.

National team

Jaurena has played 17 international matches for the French U-17 team, 15 with the U-19 and four with the U-20. In April 2014, national coach Philippe Bergeroo called her for the first time in the squad of the senior national team , without then using her. So far, only one international B match has followed in November of the same year. However, she received an appointment for the Istria Cup in March 2016 as well as for the tournament the following year .

Inès Jaurena won the gold medal with the French university selection in July 2015 at the women's football tournament of the Universiade . In September 2017, the new national coach Corinne Diacre nominated her for the French A squad on the occasion of two friendlies; however, the midfielder had to cancel her participation a few days later due to an injury. Four weeks later, Inès Jaurena made her debut in the blue dress, and that in the starting line-up as well as in her second international A match a month later. (As of November 27, 2017)
