Eskilstuna United DFF is a Swedish women's football club from Eskilstuna , which was founded on September 29, 2002. In 2013 the club was one of the founding members of the newly created second-rate Elitettan and rose to the Damallsvenskan as champions for the first time at the end of the season .
history
The club was created when the women's football department of Tunafors SK , which had played in the second division for several years, broke away from the club in 2002 and merged with the corresponding department of Slagsta IK . In the first year of existence, the new club won its third division season and rose to the second division, where the team succeeded in the middle of the table until relegation at the end of 2009. After the direct resurgence, the team qualified in 2012 as fourth in the North Season for the newly introduced as a single-track second division Elitettan, from which they rose as the first champion in the Damallsvenskan the following year.
