history
IF Limhamn Bunkeflo was founded on January 1st, 2008 when the football teams of Bunkeflo IF and Limhamns IF were merged . He took the place of Bunkeflo IF in the second-rate Superettan . The combined team reached the 13th place in the table in their first season and had to compete in relegation games against Vasalunds IF . After a 0-0 draw in the opening match, the club relegated to the third division after a 4-1 defeat. There the team placed in the middle of the table in the following seasons.
