Bunkeflo IF was a Swedish football club from Bunkleflostrand , a suburb of Malmö .
history
For a long time, the club, founded in 1945, played only under-class. In 1999 the club was promoted to Division 3 for the first time, and in 2003 it was promoted to Division 2 . Two years later the club became champions in the third division, but in qualifying for the second-rate Superettan , the team failed due to Jönköpings Södra IF . At the end of the 2006 season, however, succeeded after the runner-up in the promotion to the second division. There, the club missed six points behind GIF Sundsvall , who finished third in the promotion, as fifth in the table the march into the Allsvenskan . On January 1, 2008, the club merged with Limhamns IF to IF Limhamn Bunkeflo .
