Andernach District Court
The District Court of Andernach is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in the district of the District Court of Koblenz in the Higher Regional Court District of Koblenz .
history
Already at the time of the French occupation in 1794 and the Prussian takeover in 1815, Andernach was the seat of a peace court . The current building of the district court in Koblenzer Strasse, corner of Ludwigstrasse, was built in 1899 and later expanded.

Jurisdiction
The area of responsibility includes the city of Andernach, the Verbandsgemeinde Pellenz and the Verbandsgemeinde Weißenthurm . The Mayen District Court is responsible for insolvency matters, jury and youth jury cases as well as dunning cases. The Koblenz District Court is centrally responsible for register matters for the Andernach district court .
