The District Court of Westerburg is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Rhineland-Palatinate with its seat in Westerburg .

history

As part of the regional reform, the Rennerod and Wallmerod district courts were dissolved on January 1, 1967 and the Westerburg district court was established for them.The Marienberg district court was added to the Hachenburg district court on the same date before this was also merged with Westerburg on April 1, 1973.

Jurisdiction

The district court is responsible for all matters that can be brought before a district court and is therefore also a civil court, family court, land registry, supervision court, dunning court, probate court and register court.
