District court Hachenburg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hachenburg District Court was a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Hachenburg .

With Section 12 of the ordinance of February 22, 1867, the separation of administration and justice was ordered after Nassau was annexed by Prussia . This was not the case in the Duchy of Nassau . The offices were both administrative districts and courts of first instance. The Hachenburg office existed in Hachenburg . With ordinances of June 26, 1867 and August 21, 1867, the judicial function was transferred to the newly created district courts, including the district court of Hachenburg. The district court of Hachenburg was initially subordinate to the district court of Dillenburg .

On October 1, 1879, the changes to the Courts Constitution Act came into force. The district court of Hachenburg remained, but the district court of Neuwied replaced the disbanded district court of Dillenburg .

With the Prussian law of June 23, 1933, the Neuwied district court was repealed. The Hachenberg District Court was assigned to the district of the Limburg Regional Court . In 1943 the Marienberg District Court was closed and its work was taken over by the Hachenburg District Court. 1945 the Marienberg district court reopened. Since Hachenburg was now assigned to Rhineland-Palatinate and Limburg an der Lahn to Hesse , the Hachenburg district court was assigned to the judicial district of the Koblenz district court .

As part of the regional reform, the Rennerod and Wallmerod district courts were dissolved on January 1, 1967 and the Westerburg district court was established for them. The Marienberg district court was added to the Hachenburg district court on the same date before this was also merged with Westerburg on April 1, 1973.
