The Koblenz District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is one of the 15 district courts in the district of the Koblenz Regional Court . With around 145 employees, it is one of the largest local courts in Rhineland-Palatinate.

Jurisdiction and seat

The seat of the court is located in the main justice building at Karmeliterstraße 14 in Koblenz . It shares the building with the Koblenz Regional Court. The district court is responsible for the residents of the city of Koblenz and the municipalities of Rhein-Mosel and Vallendar as well as the city of Bendorf .

Jurisdiction

The Koblenz District Court is responsible for all matters that can be brought before a District Court .

Special jurisdiction

In addition, it is also responsible for maintaining the commercial and association register for the district court districts of Koblenz, Andernach , Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler , Cochem , Lahnstein , Mayen , Sinzig and St. Goar .

Superior courts

The Koblenz Regional Court is superordinate to the Koblenz District Court. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court Koblenz .
