The district court of Cochem is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Rhineland-Palatinate and one of 15 district courts in the district of the district court of Koblenz .

The district court has its seat in the city of Cochem , the judicial district includes the district of Cochem-Zell .

The District Court of Koblenz is superordinate to the District Court , the Higher Regional Court of Koblenz and the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe . The district court is responsible for all decisions that are reserved for the district courts. Register matters are located at the Koblenz District Court, the Mayen District Court is responsible for dunning matters.

The court building is located at Ravenéstraße 39 in Cochem. It is protected as a registered cultural monument within the meaning of the Monument Protection and Maintenance Act (DSchG) of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
