The District Court of Dillenburg (AG Dillenburg) is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Dillenburg in the Lahn-Dill district .

Seat and District of the Court

The seat of the court is in Dillenburg at Wilhelmstrasse 7. There is a branch in Herborn . The judicial district of the district court of Dillenburg includes the cities and communities Breitscheid , Dietzhölztal , Dillenburg , Driedorf , Eschenburg , Greifenstein , Haiger , Herborn, Mittenaar , Siegbach and Sinn (each including all city and districts).

In the course of the separation of administration and justice in the former ducal Nassau offices following the Prussian annexation in 1866, the Prussian Minister of Justice ordered the establishment of a district court in Dillenburg with effect from September 1, 1867. While this court initially belonged to the district of the Dillenburg District Court , it was assigned to the district of the newly established Limburg District Court with effect from October 1, 1879 on the basis of the Courts Constitution Act , but the district court district itself remained unchanged.

From October 1, 1933 to October 1, 1944, the district court of Dillenburg belonged to the district court district of Siegen . June 1, 1976 nor the Eschenburger districts could Roth and Simmersbach the District Court Biedenkopf be gained.
