Camille Donat (born October 8, 1988 in Saint-Raphaël ) is a French triathlete and swimmer.
Career
In France, Camille Donat competed in the 2010 state championship series for the Club Saint-Raphaël Triathlon , and in swimming competitions for AMSL Frejus.
In 2009, however, Camille Donat had represented the club TCG 79 Parthenay in the club championship series Lyonnaise des Eaux (Paris: 24th, La Baule: 37th), for which she competed again in 2011 in the club championship series Lyonnaise des Eaux .
In 2009 she won the silver medal at the Alpe d'Huez Triathlon .
Donat also won medals at various triathlons that are only of regional importance: bronze in Toulon (May 18, 2008), silver in Paris (June 21, 2008) and bronze in St. Raphael (April 26, 2009).
Camille Donat has been taking part in the national championships since 2007: she finished 30th in 2007, tenth in 2008, eleventh in 2009, fourth in 2010 and in May 2012 she was third in the French championship of the long-distance triathlon in Corsica .
In August 2014 she won the Embrunman on the short distance.
Ironman distance since 2017
In her first start on the Ironman distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running), she finished fourth in Ironman France in July 2017 .
At the Ironman Lanzarote in Puerto del Carmen , Spain , Donat was the fastest swimmer in May 2018 and finished the race in 18th place.
Camille Donat has been married to the British triathlete Karl Shaw since July 2018 and they both live in Fréjus .
Camille Donat has not appeared internationally since 2018 and she announced her pregnancy on social media in May 2019.
