Camberg District Court
The Camberg District Court was a court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed as a branch from 1879 to 1943 and was based in what is now Bad Camberg .
history
On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a new district court in Camberg was established in the district court district of Wiesbaden , whose district was formed from the communities of Camberg, Dombach , Eisenbach , Erbach , Schwickershausen , Niederselters , Oberselters and Würges , which were separated from the district court of Idstein .
With effect from October 1, 1893, the municipalities of Haintchen and Hasselbach, which had previously belonged to the Usingen district court , were also allocated . On April 1, 1923, responsibility for the Camberg district court changed from the Wiesbaden regional court to the Limburg regional court .
In 1943 the Camberg District Court lost its independence and became a branch of the Limburg an der Lahn District Court . With the end of May 31, 1968, this branch was also closed. The files of the court are in the Hessian Main State Archives, Abbot 469/14.
