Rennerod District Court

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The District Court Rennerod was a court of general jurisdiction in Rennerod .

With Section 12 of the ordinance of February 22, 1867, the separation of administration and justice was ordered after Nassau was annexed by Prussia . This was not the case in the Duchy of Nassau . The offices were both administrative districts and courts of first instance. The Rennerod office existed in Rennerod . With ordinances of June 26, 1867 and August 21, 1867, the judicial function was transferred to the newly created district courts, including the Rennerod district court. The Rennerod district court was initially subordinate to the Dillenburg district court .

In addition to the previous office of Rennerod, the municipalities of Bretthausen , Liebenscheid , Löhnfeld , Neukirch , Stein , Weisenberg and Willingen from the previous office of Marienberg also belonged to the judicial district of the Rennerod district court .

On October 1, 1879, the changes to the Courts Constitution Act came into force. The Rennerod district court remained, but the Limburg district court replaced the disbanded district court Dillenburg .

Since Rennerod was assigned to Rhineland-Palatinate after 1945 and Limburg an der Lahn to Hesse , the Rennerod district court was assigned to the judicial district of the Koblenz district court .

As part of the regional reform, the Rennerod and Wallmerod district courts were dissolved on January 1, 1967 and the Westerburg district court was established for them.
