Women's soccer
There has been a women's soccer department since 1974 , which is the club's sporting flagship. Sunnanå SK is the only club that has participated in all seasons of Damallsvenskan , the highest Swedish league in women's football. In the all-time table of Damallsvenskan, the club occupies sixth place. The club had its most successful period in the early eighties. In 1980 and 1982 the club became Swedish champions, and in 1983 they won the cup competition.
The club plays its home games at the Norrvalla Stadium. The coach is Kenneth Isaksson. The players wear blue jerseys, blue shorts and blue socks during the games.
The men's team is clearly overshadowed by the successful women - in the 2007 season they became vice-champions of the Div. III Norra Norrland and failed at Kiruna FF on promotion to the Div. II Norrland.
Women's team successes
- Swedish Champion 2 (1980, 1982)
