Bradley Denton

Bradley Clayton Denton (born June 7, 1958 in Towanda , Kansas ) is an American writer of science fiction , fantasy and crime novels .

Life

Denton attended the University of Kansas , where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in astronomy and a master's degree in English. He published his first short story in March 1984 in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction as The Music of the Spheres . In 1988 he moved to Austin , Texas with his wife Barbara .

Denton's early works, like most of his short stories, can be classified as science fiction. The novels Blackburn (1993), about a compassionate serial killer , and Lunatics (1996) are thrillers .
