Sundsvalls DFF is a Swedish women's football club from Sundsvall . The team played two seasons in the Damallsvenskan .
history
Sundsvalls DFF was formed in 1984 as a spin-off from GIF Sundsvall . When Damallsvenskan was founded as the highest Swedish division in the second division, the team made it to the first division in late 1990. In the 1991 season in front of Mariestads BoIS and BK Astrio placed on the last non-relegation rank, it was enough in the following season only to the last place in the table.
After relegation Sundsvalls DFF initially held in the second division, but rose in 2001 without a win of the season in the third division. After two seasons in the middle of the table, the team won their season in 2004 after 16 wins in 18 games this season with three points ahead of IF Team Hudik and returned to the second division. There she initially placed in the front midfield, but was clearly behind the promotion rank. Towards the end of the decade she slipped in the table, but stayed ahead of the relegation ranks.
In the 2013 season Sundsvall was one of the founding members of the second-rate Elitettan , but rose at the end of the season from bottom of the table.
