The Ivorian national soccer team represents the Ivory Coast in international women's soccer . The national team reports to the Ivorian Football Association and is coached by Clémentine Touré.

The Ivory Coast team was the first African women's national team. In 1988 she took part in a tournament in China, but lost all three games there against the Netherlands , Canada and China . The next game only followed four years later, this time in France against the French , which was also lost. It took another ten years until the fifth game, which was also the first home game and encounter with an African team. On August 10, 2002, the Ivory Coast and Mali parted 3: 3 in Abidjan as part of the qualification for the African Championship . Since the second leg in Mali also ended in a draw - this time 1: 1 - the Ivory Coast was eliminated due to the lower number of away goals scored. The team could not qualify for the other Africa and World Championships as well as the Olympic Games. On December 16, 2007, the Senegalese won their first victory. On June 16, 2012, the team was able to qualify for an African Championship for the first time . In the qualifying games against Mozambique they achieved their highest victory to date.
