The Africa Cup of Women 2018 ( English 2018 Total Women's Africa Cup of Nations Ghana 2018 , French Coupe Coupe d'Afrique des Nations Féminine Total, Ghana 2018 ) was the 11th edition of the African continental championship in women's football and took place from November 17th to December 1, 2018 in Ghana . The Nigerian team won.
The top three teams in the tournament - Nigeria, South Africa and Cameroon - qualified for the 2019 Women's World Cup .
qualification
Ghana was automatically qualified as host for the Africa Cup. 24 of the 56 member associations of the CAF had registered a team for qualification. Of these, 23 teams ultimately took part in the qualification.

- Note: * The team was initially disqualified and Kenya was re- nominated. On November 7, 2018, the disqualification was withdrawn and Equatorial Guinea was admitted to the tournament. Equatorial Guinea cannot qualify for the World Cup due to a FIFA ban.

The group stage draw took place in Accra on October 21, 2018 . Ghana as the host and Nigeria as the defending champion were automatically placed as group heads, Cameroon and South Africa were assigned to Pot 1 and the remaining teams to Pot 2.
