Gabrielle Aboudi Onguéné (born February 25, 1989 in Douala ) is a Cameroonian football player .
Life
Gabrielle Onguéné was born to Clément Onguéné and is not related to former Cameroonian international Jean Manga-Onguéné . She grew up in the small suburb of Ekekam and attended school in Okola .
Career
In the club
Onguéné began her career in her hometown of Douala for Gondicam de Yabassi. In 2010 she left Gondicam and switched to Canon de Yaoundé . After a year she left Canon and went to Louves MINCOF Yaoundé in spring 2011 . In April 2011 Onguene completed a trial training at Pogoń Szczecin Women , but was not able to convince. A month later, in May 2011, a trial training session with German Bundesliga club FF USV Jena followed with national teammate Gabrielle Ngaska . Ongene moved to FK Alfa 09 Kaliningrad in Russia after the Olympic Games in summer 2012. After almost four months in Russia , she returned to Cameroon and has since played for Louves MINCOF Yaoundé.
International
Onguéné has been the national player for her country Cameroon since 2010 and has been the vice-captain of Cameroon since 2011. In July 2012 she was nominated for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London . Onguene took part in 2015 when Cameroon participated in the World Cup in Canada for the first time. At this tournament she reached the second round with her team as second in the group and only failed there against China .
