Canon Sportif de Yaoundé , Canon Yaoundé for short , is a football club in Yaoundé , Cameroon .

history

The club, founded in 1930, is one of the most successful football clubs in the country with nine championships and eleven cup wins. It managed to win the CAF Champions League three times . Four times they were in the final of the African Cup Winners' Cup, but only once, in 1979, the victory.

The team, playing in the club colors red and green, shares the Omnisports Ahmadou-Ahidjo stadium , which has a seating capacity of 65,000, with local rivals Tonnerre Yaoundé .
