Françoise Joséphine Bella (born March 9, 1983 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian football player .

Career

Bella started her career with Canon de Yaoundé and moved to Nigeria to the Inneh Queens in autumn 2001 . After four years for the Edo club , she moved to the Professional Female Football League rival Pelican Stars from Calabar . Bella subsequently played two seasons for Pelican and moved to Bayelsa Queens in January 2008 . In spring 2010 she returned to Cameroon and signed for FC Yaoundé , where she played for two years in the Cameroonian second division. She then returned to Nigeria in spring 2012 and signed with the Rivers Angels .

International

Bella has been part of the Cameroon national team since 2001 and has been the team captain since 2009.

In July 2012 she was nominated for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London .
