Tonnerre Yaoundé

Tonnerre Kalara Club de Yaoundé , better known as Tonnerre Yaoundé , is a football club based in Yaoundé , Cameroon .

The club, founded in 1934, celebrated its greatest successes in the 1980s when it won the championship five times. In addition, the club made it into the national cup finals eight times in its history, and five times they left the field as a winner. In 1975 the African Cup Winners' Cup was won against Stella Club Adjamé .

The team, playing in the club colors black and white, plays their home games in the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium , which has 38,720 spectators.
