Halimatu Ibrahim Ayinde (born May 16, 1995 in Kaduna ) is a Nigerian soccer player .

Career

society

Ayinde played for the Nigerian first division club Delta Queens until 2015 . Shortly after the 2015 World Cup, she moved to the NWSL participant Western New York Flash , where she made her debut on July 25 against the Houston Dash franchise . In May 2016, Ayinde was released from her franchise after nine appearances (one goal) and subsequently switched to the Belarusian Champions League participant FK Minsk .

National team

Ayinde went through several junior national teams of the Nigerian Football Association and took part in the U-17 World Cup in 2010 and 2012 , as well as the U-20 Women's World Cup in 2014 , in which she only failed in the final in the German selection . With the senior national team , she won the African Cup of Nations in 2014 and the World Cup in 2015 .
