The 2004 EBSA U19 European Snooker Championship was the eighth edition of the European Junior Snooker Championship organized by the European Billiards and Snooker Association . It took place from April 5th to 8th, 2004 at the First Artist Academy in Wellingborough , England .

European champion was the Welshman Jamie Jones with a 6: 3 victory in the final against the Northern Irishman Mark Allen . Jones also played the tournament's highest break with 139 points. Defending champion Jamie O'Neill was eliminated in the round of 16 against the Irishman John Connors .

mode

The 40 participating players were divided into eight groups of five players each, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top two in each group qualified for the final round, which was played out in the knockout system .
