The EBSA European Snooker Championship 2019 was a snooker tournament that took place from February 23 to March 2, 2019 at the U Magic Palace Hotel in Eilat , Israel . It was the 28th edition of the continental championship organized by the European Snooker Association , the European Billiards and Snooker Association .

The Austrians Andreas Ploner , Florian Nüßle and Philipp Koch as well as the Germans Robin Otto and Michael Schnabel took part from the German-speaking area . Koch was eliminated in the group stage, Otto and Schnabel reached the round of the last 64, Ploner the round of the last 32. Nüßle only lost in the quarter-finals, which an Austrian had only managed to do in 2014 at a European Championship.

The European champion was Kacper Filipiak from Poland , who won the final 5: 4 against David Lilley from England. Filipiak thus qualified for the Main Tour seasons 2019/20 and 2020/21 . The highest break of the tournament with 123 points was played by Welshman Andrew Pagett in his group game against Croatian Filip Bermanec .
