The EBSA Under-18 Snooker Championship Europe in 2016 was one of the European Billiards and Snooker Association hosted a snooker tournament , which from 8 to 12 February 2016 at the Haston City Hotel in Polish Wroclaw took place. It was the first European championship to be held in the U18 age group.

European champion was the Welsh Tyler Rees with a 5-2 victory in the final against his compatriot Jackson Page . Rees also earned a starting place for the qualifying round of the 2016 Professional World Championship .

mode

The 72 participating players were divided into 18 groups of four players each, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top three in each group qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
