The EBSA U19 European Snooker Championship 2008 was the twelfth edition of the Junior European Snooker Championship organized by the European Billiards and Snooker Association . It took place from March 29th to April 11th, 2008 at the Craigpark Masters in Glasgow , Scotland .

The Englishman Stephen Craigie became European champion with a 6-2 victory in the final against the Scot Anthony McGill and thus received a starting place for the Main Tour season 2008/09 .

The 50 participating players were divided into eight groups, each with six or seven players, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The four best placed in each group qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
