EBSA European Snooker Championship 2003

The EBSA Snooker European Championship 2003 was the twelfth edition of the European Billiards and Snooker Association hosted European Championship in Snooker . It took place in Bad Wildungen in Hesse . Welsh David John became European champion with a 7-3 win in the final against his compatriot Andrew Pagett .

mode

The 56 participating players were divided into eight groups of seven players each, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top two in each group qualified for the final round, which was played out in the knockout system .
