The EBSA U21 European Snooker Championship 2020 was a junior snooker tournament organized by the European Billiards and Snooker Association together with the Federação Portuguesa de Bilhar (FPB) . It took place from February 10-14 , 2020 at the Salgados Palace Hotel in Albufeira , Portugal . It was the 10th edition of the European Championship in the U21 age group.

Aaron Hill , who had just become European U18 champion just before , also won the title in the older age group. The 19-year-old Irishman beat England's Hayden Staniland 5-2 in the final. As in the previous year, the tournament winner Hill qualified for two seasons of the professional snooker tour .

Group stage

92 players from 27 countries registered for the tournament. They were divided into 19 groups, 16 groups with 5 and 3 with 4 players each. In the groups everyone played against everyone for the placements. The top three in each group qualified for the final round.

Final round

The final round was played in knockout mode . 57 players had qualified through the group stage, so 7 players got a bye in the first round and moved directly into round 2.
