Jackson Page (born August 8, 2001 in Ebbw Vale ) is a Welsh snooker player.

Career

Jackson Page won the U-18 World Snooker Championship at the age of 16 .

After losing 5-2 to Tyler Rees in the final of the EBSA U18 European Snooker Championship in 2016 , Jackson Page was able to take the title at the subsequent U18 European Championship . The next year he was able to defend this title.

Jackson Page attended Q School in 2017 . In the first tournament he only lost in the fourth round 3: 4 to Zhang Yong , in the second tournament he missed the quarter-finals with a 1: 4 defeat against his compatriot Ben Jones . Even a year later he was unsuccessful, he was eliminated once in round 2, round 3 and round 4. Due to the results, however, I was able to qualify for the Challenge Tour 2018/19 . There he lost to Barry Pinches 2: 3 in the final of the third tournament .

On July 7, 2018, he defeated Ian Sargeant 8-1 in the final of the Welsh Snooker Championship to become the first Welsh champion.

At the Paul Hunter Classic 2018 , Page reached the round of 16 of a ranking tournament for the first time. Page survived qualifying, defeating Zhou Yuelong , Ian Burns and Sam Baird in the first three rounds of the tournament . In the last sixteen he had to admit defeat to Scott Donaldson .

In February 2019, Page made it into the final of the U21 European Championship , where he defeated the Irish rider Ross Bulman 5-1 and qualified for the Main Tour seasons 2019/20 and 2020/21 .
