The IBSF U18 World Snooker Championship 2016 was a snooker tournament that took place from 16 to 20 August 2016 at Sunparks Kempense Meren in the Belgian municipality of Mol in the province of Antwerp . It was the second edition of the World Championship for U18 juniors organized by the International Billiards & Snooker Federation .

The Welshman Jackson Page became world champion with a 5-4 victory in the final against Yun Fung Tam from Hong Kong . The defending champion was Ka Wai Cheung , who was eliminated in the round of 16 against Chris Totten .

The 87 participants were initially divided into 18 groups, in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . 54 players qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
