The 1992 IBSF World Snooker Championship was the 19th edition of the World Amateur Snooker Championship . It took place at the Hotel New Dolmen in Bugibba , Malta .

The Englishman Neil Mosley became world champion with an 11-2 victory in the final against the Filipino Leonardo Andam .

mode

The 72 participants were divided into eight groups in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top two in each group qualified for the final round, which was played out in the knockout system .
