The 1990 IBSF U21 World Snooker Championship was the fourth edition of the Junior World Snooker Championship . It took place at the Clem Jones Center in Brisbane , Australia and was hosted by the International Billiards & Snooker Federation .
The Englishman Peter Ebdon , who was eliminated in the semifinals last year, became world champion with an 11: 9 win in the final against his compatriot Oliver King .
Troy Shaw played in the round of 16 against Ebdon with 103 points, the highest break of the tournament and at the same time the only century break .
